Performance and Usage
EM-540 rust conversion lotion can be sprayed on the surface of simply treated steel rust substrate. Used for water-based industrial paint, printing ink, and wood paint. Organic acids react with iron oxide in rust to form a very strong chelate with the substrate, while also passivating the substrate. Quickly turning rust and turning black, with good interlayer adhesion and water resistance.
Using water as a solvent is environmentally friendly and safe, significantly reducing labor intensity, improving work efficiency, and reducing construction costs.
